Republican Cowards

I know that in every war, for the most part, the poor kids fight the rich man's battles. Mostly because there are more poor kids that rich.

But this quagmire of an occupation of Iraq by the Bush Administration has so taken the situation to new, more towering heights.

I speak, of course, about among others, the Bush twins, Barbara and Jenna. They should take a page out of the book of the British Royals, or maybe the Kennedy's, or maybe from Pat Tillman, the wealthy football player. How about Teddy Roosevelt's son who fought on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. The Royals are expected, by the family, to serve in some fashion in the military service of their kingdom. The Kennedy's lost Joe, Jr when his plane was shot down and listed as missing during World War II, and President John F. Kennedy was injured rescuing one of the sailors from his PT boat, after it sank. An injury that affected his back until he died at the hand of an earlier right-wing extremist. Pat Tillman decided to leave the NFL to serve his country after 9/11, only to be assigned to an area, Iraq, that had nothing to do with the attack on America.

Now we have this occupation of Iraq, started for none of the reasons mentioned by the Bush Administration, where we are approaching to date, 2000 dead American kids, and over 15,000 maimed by the inexcusable reasoning by our fearless leader.

And there sit Barbara and Jenna. This "war" is good enough for our kids to go and die, but not important enough for the Bush twins to go. Or, for that matter, any children of those who continue to support George W. and his ficticious excuses for why we are there.

No Bush supporting Congressman or Senator with children of fighting age, has any of them in the service.

And then you have the Young Republicans. Those little angels from hell that believe in this occupation....believe in George W. Bush....believe everything the Bush Administration tells them and does it with great zeal....those who have never even considered seeing the inside of a recruiting office. Those that want to send their poorer classmates to die for their hero's causes, but refuse to even risk the possibility of doing so themselves.

One journalist, which I heard talking on the radio, said a few weeks ago he approached a group of the young Nazi's in coats and ties, and asked them why THEY were not volunteering to serve. They told him that they felt they could do more for the war effort by pushing the Bush agenda here at home....I guess fascism is in vogue with this bunch.

I just think that the citizenry of the United States needs to be reminded on a very regular basis of who WANTS this occupation of Iraq....who STARTED this occupation of Iraq...who SUPPORTS this occupation of Iraq.......and then realize who is FIGHTING AND DYING for President George W. Bush's occupation of Iraq.

And by the way......how long has it been since 9/11 and why could we find a man who DIDN'T attack us, and can't find the man who DID? Has something to do with where the troops are, which is in relation to where the oil is.
